I fell in sleep on the couch from about 10 pm or so and woke up at 3 am. Now I can't go back to sleep on bed.
My cat Fu is accompanying me. It started to rain again about 5 minutes ago, and the creaking wooden floor is grabbing her attention.
It was a mellow weekend overall. My good friend Charlie came over on Saturday and I cooked some pork chops. That sounds like I'm cooking often, but that not the case nowadays. After watching a Japanese-Chinese mixed three-part movie that Charlie brought, boys had a long conversation about photography, flickr, future cafe plans and some more photography stuff with before Charlie fell in sleep on couch.

By the time I woke up, it was raining quite a bit. Ladies were feeling lazy so the boys went out for breakfast aka bacon fiesta. Oh Charlie why you just never use umbrellas?? Somethings that my friends do are just beyond me, but I have no problem amazing myself with my own stubborn stupidity and oddness once in a while so there.
I resisted buying some sweaters at a small sample sale shop in the neighborhood yesterday when they had 40% off sale, but my resistance failed when I saw the leftovers on our way home from breakfast today. Oh well.
We usually go out for shooting some photos almost every Sunday, but the rain got even stronger since the morning and we didn't feel like getting out. I didn't even finish the roll with only about 5 shots left when we went out for breakfast. We watched a couple of movies for our lazy-rainy-sunday-afternoon that we do once in a while. One HW blockbuster and one Japanese slightly-arty stuff which I quite liked. I don't watch Japanese movies often if not at all. It's not that I don't like them. Sometimes I feel too much information and emotions are just simply too much to take. I do enjoy most of them when I do watch them, though. Oh Japanese movies are weird.

Since I woke up at 3 am on my IKEA couch that I have much love-and-hate relationship with, I spent sometime reading a tattoo magazine and a quoter chapter of DeJa Dead by Kathy Reichs that I've been meaning to finish for the past six months or so. I am no book reader in the recent years.
It's 4:58 am now. Fu is curled up next to me and she's begging me to go to bed. I think sleeping is overrated, but I shall give it another try now as she worships it. What cats love shouldn't be that bad.
