Way to spend a rainy morning

We finally got sunny sky this morning. Better make some coffee now.

Since the Paris trip, I've been drinking a lot more Espresso and less "american" coffee mainly because I always end up drinking way too much and often feel sick by the evening time (like i stop drinking because of that ;). So I figured "smaller portion, but many times a day" is better for me. Of course the definition of "better" isn't necessarily about healthiness, though. :p

But I'm also finding the taste of espresso in the US is often too intense, especially from those fancy coffee houses. I don't know if I like them all that much. I used to drink Americano for this reason, but then that defeats the purpose of drinking less. I don't need super intense bitterness, but a bit more concentrated "cafe" in smaller portion.

So far, the best solution is Nespresso pods at home.

BTW, I rescanned the prints with my usual CanoScan and updated most of Pris shots so far. HP all-in-one was just too bad. :p But I'm actually liking Print-then-Scan process. I don't get to see the picture until I print, and it's more fun that way. I just go to darkroom and make bunch of small prints super quick. If I like something a lot, I'll enlarge them bigger next time.

Hey Sug.
I was reading the other day the Gary Winograd used to print that way too, he'd expose the paper and put in in a box, put the next neg in, expose that sheet of paper, put it in the box and so on, till he'd done like, 100 or so, then develop them all together, then come back and re-print, and work on the ones he liked.
Reading that makes me wish I had a darkroom again.

Yeah, I'm not much into contact sheet to print big method. Probably other guys will be pissed if I dump 100 5x7s to dev bath in shared darkroom :p, but, say 3 - 5 shots at once doesn't sound too bad.

Yeah there is nothing like spending hours in darkroom. No computer, no cell phone, chitchat. Just you and neg and paper. :)
